Cheon Nam-Joo

Dr. Cheon Nam-joo is the founder and chief surgeon of Chiyu Plastic Surgery Clinic, a specialized rhinoplasty center in Seoul's Gangnam district. He graduated from Soonchunhyang University College of Medicine and Graduate School, completed his residency at Soonchunhyang University Hospital, and served as a Clinical Instructor in the Plastic Surgery Department. Dr. Cheon is a lifetime member of the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons, a regular member of the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and holds international memberships in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and International Confederation for Plastic Surgery (ICPS). His expertise was recognized by inclusion in Marquis Who's Who in the World 2018. Dr. Cheon's research paper on 'Gentle Septal Extension for a Soft Nasal Tip' was published in the SCI journal Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in August 2024, and he was invited to present at the SCH 50th Anniversary Symposium. Previously, he served as director of Cinderella Plastic Surgery and DA Plastic Surgery before founding Chiyu.

The name 'Chiyu' (치유) means healing in Korean - reflecting our belief that plastic surgery should heal both appearance and mind. We operate under a strict 1:1 system where the chief surgeon personally handles every consultation and procedure - there are no shadow doctors. To ensure the highest quality of care and results, we limit surgeries to only 3 per day. Our focus on rhinoplasty allows us to maintain specialized expertise, and we emphasize natural results using autologous tissue and minimally invasive techniques whenever possible. Every patient deserves the undivided attention and surgical precision that comes from a dedicated, non-rushed approach to aesthetic surgery.
