Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose and Scope)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") establish the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between GangnamDoctor ("Platform"), operated by Rebeauty ("Company"), and its users ("Members") in connection with the use of cosmetic surgery information services and related features ("Services"). These Terms apply to all users who access or use the Platform, whether registered or unregistered.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "Services" refers to all services provided by the Company through the Platform, including but not limited to cosmetic surgery information, procedure guides, doctor and clinic directories, reviews, Q&A, before/after photos, and community features.
• "Member" refers to an individual who has completed the registration process, agreed to these Terms, and entered into a service agreement with the Company.
• "Content" refers to all information, data, text, images, and other materials available on the Platform, including editorial content produced by the Company and content provided by partner clinics and doctors.
• "User-Generated Content" (UGC) refers to any content created and submitted by Members, including reviews, questions, answers, comments, photos, ratings, and any other contributions to the Platform.

Article 3 (Account Registration)

1. Age Requirement: You must be at least 14 years of age to register for an account and use the Services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2. Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
3. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. The Company shall not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account information.

Article 4 (Member Obligations)

Members agree to the following obligations when using the Services:

1. Compliance with Laws: Members must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms when using the Services.
2. No False Information: Members must not provide false, misleading, or deceptive information in their profiles, reviews, or any other content submitted to the Platform.
3. No Defamation: Members must not post content that defames, harasses, threatens, or otherwise violates the rights of other users, clinics, doctors, or any third parties.
4. No Spam: Members must not use the Services to distribute unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, spam, or any form of unauthorized solicitation.
5. Respect for Others: Members must engage respectfully with other users and refrain from posting obscene, offensive, or discriminatory content.

Article 5 (Intellectual Property)

1. Platform Content: All content provided by the Company on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design elements, is the property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from such content without prior written permission.
2. User-Generated Content Rights: Members retain ownership of their User-Generated Content. However, by submitting UGC to the Platform, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from your UGC in connection with operating and promoting the Services.

Article 6 (User-Generated Content)

1. Responsibility: Members are solely responsible for the content they post on the Platform. You represent and warrant that your UGC does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
2. Moderation: The Company reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, edit, or remove any UGC that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or community guidelines, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
3. DMCA Process: If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and posted on the Platform in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notice to our designated agent at cs@rebeauty.co.kr containing: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Platform; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Article 7 (Medical Disclaimer)

1. All information provided on the Platform, including procedure descriptions, doctor profiles, clinic information, reviews, and before/after photos, is for general informational and reference purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
2. The Platform does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The content on this Platform should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation.
3. You should always consult with a qualified medical professional before making any decisions regarding cosmetic procedures. Individual results may vary, and only a licensed physician can provide personalized medical advice based on your specific circumstances.
4. The Company does not endorse or guarantee the quality, safety, or outcomes of any procedures, clinics, or doctors listed on the Platform.

Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Posting false, fraudulent, or misleading reviews or information about clinics, doctors, or procedures.
• Using the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, the Platform's systems, or networks connected to the Services.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
• Scraping, crawling, or using automated means to collect data from the Platform without prior written consent.
• Interfering with or disrupting the Services or servers connected to the Platform.
• Engaging in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform.
• Posting content that is obscene, pornographic, violent, or promotes illegal activities.
• Using the Platform to engage in commercial activities or advertising without prior authorization from the Company.

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)

1. The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information and materials available on the Platform.
2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.
3. The Company is not responsible for any decisions made based on the information provided on the Platform, including medical decisions regarding cosmetic procedures.
4. The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes between Members, or between Members and third parties, including clinics and doctors.

Article 10 (Indemnification)

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another person or entity; or (d) any User-Generated Content you submit to the Platform.

Article 11 (Termination and Account Suspension)

1. The Company may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if it determines that you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.
2. You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature or contacting us at cs@rebeauty.co.kr.
3. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. The Company may, but is not obligated to, delete your account data and User-Generated Content following termination, subject to applicable data retention laws.
4. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

1. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
2. Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
3. Amicable Resolution: Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties shall make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably through good-faith negotiation.

Article 13 (Changes to Terms)

1. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified Terms will be posted on the Platform with an updated "Last Updated" date and will become effective upon posting, unless a later effective date is specified.
2. For material changes, the Company will provide notice at least 7 days prior to the effective date through the Platform or via email to registered Members.
3. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any modified Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Services and delete your account.
