About
Dr. Hyun Kyung-chul is the Hospital Director of Soldam Korean Medicine Hospital and head of its Cancer Integrative Immunity Center. A board-certified Korean Internal Medicine specialist, he leads an integrative team combining Korean and Western medicine, with five Korean Medicine doctors, physicians, physical therapists and nurses working in coordinated care. He graduated from Kyung Hee University, College of Korean Medicine, earned a Ph.D. in Korean Medicine from Dongshin University, and pursued additional doctoral studies in Korean Neuropsychiatry at Kyung Hee University.
Medical Philosophy
Dr. Hyun believes that true healing requires the strengths of both Korean and Western medicine working as one. He guides every patient through the hospital's four-stage recovery roadmap — Understanding, Stabilizing, Restoring, and Maintaining — combining individualized herbal therapy, acupuncture and integrative cancer-immunity care to restore long-term wellness rather than treat symptoms in isolation.
