Revision double eyelid surgery experiences in Korea?
Double Eyelid SurgeryI had double eyelid surgery done in my home country about 3 years ago and I am not satisfied with the results. One eye has a higher crease than the other and the overall look is quite unnatural. I have heard that Korean surgeons are excellent at revision surgeries. Has anyone had revision double eyelid surgery in Korea? What was your experience like? How much more complicated is a revision compared to a primary surgery? I am also wondering about the cost difference. Any clinic recommendations for revision cases would be very helpful!

Korean surgeons do handle a high volume of revision eyelid cases, so experience is generally strong. Revision is genuinely more complex than primary surgery because of scar tissue, altered anatomy, and sometimes a shortage of skin, so it usually costs more (often 1.5–2x) and requires a surgeon who sub-specializes in revisions. Asymmetric crease height like yours is a common, fixable complaint, but the surgeon needs to assess in person — sometimes the higher side is lowered, sometimes the lower side is raised. Wait until tissues are fully settled (at least 6–12 months after the last surgery) before revising.
