Recommended Korean dermatology clinics for acne scars treatment?
I have moderate acne scarring on my cheeks - a mix of boxcar and rolling scars. I have tried various treatments in my country but nothing has made a significant difference. I have heard that Korean dermatology clinics are very advanced in treating acne scars with lasers and other techniques. Can anyone recommend good dermatology clinics in Seoul for acne scar treatment? What treatments did you receive and how many sessions did it take to see improvement? I am planning to stay in Korea for about a month and want to maximize my treatment time. Budget is around 3-5 million won.

Korean dermatology clinics treat acne scars aggressively with combinations rather than a single device — fractional lasers (CO2 or erbium), microneedling RF (e.g., genius/secret-type), subcision for rolling/tethered scars, and TCA CROSS for narrow icepick/boxcar scars. Boxcar and rolling scars like yours usually respond best to subcision plus fractional/RF over several sessions. Realistically expect 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for meaningful improvement, so a month-long stay lets you start but likely not finish — ask about a plan you can partly continue at home. A 3–5 million won budget is workable. On Fitzpatrick IV–V skin, conservative laser settings and good sun protection are essential to avoid post-inflammatory pigmentation.
