When is the right age to start Botox in Korea?
Botox InjectionI am 27 and starting to notice fine lines on my forehead when I raise my eyebrows. A lot of my Korean friends have already started getting Botox as a preventative measure. I am wondering if I should start too or if I am too young. Is preventative Botox actually effective? What is the typical age that people start getting Botox in Korea? I am also concerned about the "frozen" look - I want to keep my facial expressions natural. How much does Botox typically cost in Korean clinics compared to Western countries? Are there any long-term effects I should be aware of?

Starting Botox at 27 for dynamic forehead lines is reasonable and very common in Korea; 'preventative' Botox can slow the etching of lines into permanent creases by reducing repetitive muscle folding. It is effective and the effect is fully reversible (it wears off in 3–4 months), so there is no permanent lock-in. The 'frozen' look comes from over-dosing — a conservative dose that softens movement while keeping natural expression avoids this, so ask for a light, natural result. Korean clinic pricing is generally lower per area than in Western countries. Long term, regular use is considered safe; the main practical point is choosing an experienced injector who doses conservatively.
