Building a Korean skincare routine for sensitive rosacea-prone skin?
I have rosacea and extremely sensitive skin that reacts to almost everything. I want to try Korean skincare because I have heard it focuses on gentle, hydrating formulas. Can anyone help me build a basic Korean skincare routine for rosacea-prone skin? What ingredients should I look for and which should I absolutely avoid? I am particularly interested in products that calm redness. Are there any Korean brands specifically formulated for sensitive skin? I have heard good things about Soon Jung and Real Barrier lines - any experiences?

For rosacea and reactive skin, the strategy is minimal, fragrance-free, and barrier-first. A basic routine: a gentle non-foaming cleanser, a soothing hydrating toner/serum (centella, panthenol, beta-glucan, madecassoside), a simple barrier moisturizer, and a mineral or low-irritation sunscreen (sun and heat are major rosacea triggers). Etude Soon Jung and Real Barrier are both genuinely good, low-irritant Korean lines for this. Avoid common triggers: fragrance, essential oils, high alcohol, strong acids/retinoids, and physical scrubs; introduce any new product one at a time with a patch test. Look specifically for 'centella'/'cica' and 'panthenol' to reduce redness. For persistent flushing, a dermatologist can add prescription or low-energy laser options.
