10 Days Post-Rhinoplasty!!!

It's been 10 days since my rhinoplasty!! I had both the bridge and tip of my nose done!! First of all, the desk staff and nurses here are so friendly and kind, which made me feel more comfortable when I was lying on the operating table. It's only been 10 days, but I barely have any bruising, so I wasn't worried about when the bruising would fade, haha. I had eyelid surgery 3 years ago, and I swelled up a lot and couldn't take time off work, so I was really worried about swelling and bruising... to the point where I regretted it and felt stressed. But here, I only had slight bruising around my cheeks near my nose, and it faded in about 5 days. Honestly, I didn't even pay attention to the bruising, lol. I didn't even notice when it disappeared, hahaha. There's still a little swelling on the bridge of my nose, but it's going down quickly day by day. I didn't even do ice packs that diligently because I was working, lol. When there was swelling, I was like, 'Ah, I should have made it higher... I'm disappointed,' but when the swelling went down, I was like, 'Wow, hahaha.' Before the surgery, it didn't feel that low when looking at it from the front, so my mom told me not to do it, and my friends told me it was fine as it was, but my profile was just so flat and my face lacked dimension, which was very stressful. I even debated getting the surgery for about 2 years because I had a hard time with my eyelid surgery, and it's different from eyelid surgery... After the surgery, I felt really hot and my heart was pounding like crazy, and I thought it would hurt a lot if I touched it even slightly, and I had all sorts of thoughts and worries, but what...? It's manageable...? That's what I thought, lol. I just felt like it wasn't my nose, but it didn't hurt much when I touched it. But sleeping is a little difficult because I have to breathe through my mouth, and my mouth gets dry, so I wake up in the middle of the night to drink water, haha. The doctor also takes really good care of me during each follow-up appointment, which is really awesome!!!! He's so meticulous and detail-oriented that the incision site is clean and the scar will disappear quickly, according to the doctor!!
