I'm turning 37 this year. T_T Personally, I've never had any surgery or procedures related to 'plastic surgery' on my face. I think that for men in my age group who are engaged in 'livelihoods,' especially those who are the head of a household with children, it's still considered 'luxurious' to groom their faces through plastic surgery or procedures, which is still the prevailing sentiment in Korea. However, on the other hand, as I go about my social life, I also realize that the statement that 'appearance is competitiveness' is by no means a false statement. In a social climate that favors superior looks, even if the government implements many measures to curb and guard against this, the reality is not necessarily the case, and I have felt this myself. I need to post a review, but I'm rambling about the bitter climate of this appearance-obsessed society~ ^^ I'll start the review now. First of all, I am a 37-year-old male. In the past, I had a not-so-bad appearance and face shape, but as I got older, I started to feel that my face was becoming asymmetrical. When I looked in the mirror, I thought it was okay, but when I saw photos or videos of myself that were taken unintentionally, I saw that my right cheek was noticeably more swollen than my left cheek, and because that appearance wasn't very presentable, I found myself becoming less confident in my appearance and feeling withdrawn. Is it excessive self-deprecation? Absolutely not. I think that any man or woman in the same situation as me, even if they don't show it, can relate. It's not a matter of correcting a flaw on the face, but rather a case where a specific area is outwardly abnormal compared to the average person. In my case, people often tell me, 'Your right face is swollen. Did someone hit you? Is there something wrong?' I don't mind hearing it once or twice, but hearing it repeatedly makes me annoyed and lose confidence. For a while, I massaged my face using massage devices or massage creams that I found online, and I even mustered up the courage to buy a one-month pass and get facial meridian massage at a skin care shop. At the time, I thought it had a psychological effect, but it took quite a while to realize that, objectively, it had no effect. I also tried to lose face fat through diet and exercise, but the asymmetrical shape of my face didn't change much. Rather, 'eating less' and 'excessive exercise' caused the elasticity of my facial skin to sag, and although the contours of my face were slightly improved, I looked more gaunt and sick. The biggest reason I hesitated to go to a plastic surgery clinic was the 'cost,' but when I calculated the cost of the massage creams, massage devices, and facial meridian massage at offline skin care shops that I had used online, I now regret that I should have gotten plastic surgery with that money instead of wasting time and money. It's also not easy for a man to open the door to a plastic surgery clinic. My wife (my wife is 33 years old) gave birth to our second child last November, and because she was breastfeeding, she kept eating healthy foods and didn't manage her figure, so her weight increased to 70kg. Why am I suddenly talking about my wife? The reason I came to this hospital is because my wife recommended it to me. My wife, who had gained a lot of weight, went to OO Oriental Medicine Clinic in the neighborhood and spent about 180 (presumably 1800000 won) and lost about 15-20kg in 4-50 days. It's a very expensive amount, but I thought it was an unavoidable choice in order to engage in normal social activities, and now that we've seen the effect, we're both satisfied.
