Hello~ I'm a first-year high school student who had eye surgery at Apex this winter.^^ Since middle school, I've been envious of my friends' big eyes, so I used double eyelid glue or tape every morning. My mom, dad, and older sister all have double eyelids... I heard that double eyelids are dominant~ Why am I the only one who doesn't have them,,,!!! ㅠㅠ I used double eyelid glue and tape for almost 2 years, and my eyelids started to droop,,, I didn't have confidence because I didn't have double eyelids, and I begged and begged my parents with the ridiculous excuse that I couldn't concentrate on studying because my eyes were heavy. Finally, I had double eyelid surgery.^^ Since I'm going to high school anyway, no one will know my old face haha Originally, I was looking into large hospitals, but there were too many people and it was too complicated. I heard that many places do proxy surgeries, so I was worried and decided to go to Apex through an acquaintance. As soon as I entered the hospital, it felt cozy, unlike the atmosphere of a large hospital. It's 100% by appointment, so it wasn't crowded, and they proceeded with the consultation at the scheduled time. Unlike other hospitals, here, the doctor's consultation was conducted first. That's what I trusted the most~ I couldn't even see the doctor's face at other hospitals and only had a consultation with the consultant. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get buried sutures because I had been using double eyelid glue and tape for too long, but they said that it wasn't drooping too much, so buried sutures would be sufficient~ After the consultation, I booked the surgery date as soon as possible and finally got buried double eyelids. I was so scared and nervous because it was my first time getting plastic surgery... The doctor, consultant, and nurses were so kind that my tension gradually eased. For 3 days after the surgery, the swelling was severe and unnatural, so I was worried, but after time passed and the swelling subsided, I got the in-out line I wanted. I'm so happy that I don't have to use double eyelid glue or tape every morning~^^ It's so natural that only my close friends know I had surgery, and no one else knows~ I'm so, so happy that my face is prettier and it doesn't look like I had plastic surgery~ lol Surprisingly~ It really feels like it's easier to open my eyes, so I'm studying better too haha I wasn't lying^^ When I get closer to my friends, I'll tell them I had surgery and bring them with me~^^ Thank you so much, Dr. Song Hyun-seok, for giving me eyes like my mom and dad~!!
