It's hard to see in the photos, but I actually had very thin double eyelids. My eyes looked sleepy and my features weren't defined, so I decided to get surgery. I booked and paid the deposit on the same day I had the consultation, haha. I was so impressed by the director's confident and straightforward explanations during the consultation that I immediately thought, 'This is the place!' and decided to have the surgery. The line he designed matched exactly what I wanted, so I'm very satisfied! You could say we were on the same wavelength^^. The director seems to prefer a natural look! He showed me many before-and-after photos of other patients, focusing on those with similar eyes to mine. They all looked so beautiful and natural^^. I went in thinking I would only get the buried suture method, but I was also prepared to get an incision + medial epicanthoplasty if necessary. However, he said I only needed the buried suture method! He firmly said that I didn't need an incision or medial epicanthoplasty, haha. I saw in other reviews that he doesn't do unnecessary procedures, and it was true! On the day of the surgery, I thought I would have a lot of swelling because I'm usually very prone to it, but the swelling was just so-so? Not much at all, and I only had slight bruising. I had a little more swelling on the 2nd and 3rd days, and it started to go down from the first week. The swelling and bruising were almost completely gone in less than 2 weeks. My mom said it looked great and natural, and everyone at work said it turned out so well^^. I started wearing makeup and lenses from the 3rd week. For reference, I was too lazy to do much of the things that help with swelling, like ice packs, pumpkin juice, and walking...ㅋㅋ. It's been a month now, and I'm so, so satisfied. I regret not doing it sooner ㅠㅠ. Thank you to Director Choi Dong-il for the beautiful surgery, and to the kind manager and staff! ㅎㅎ
