This is my 1-month DES review. I had incisional ptosis correction and medial epicanthoplasty. I had been using double eyelid glue for about 4 years, and my eyelids were sagging a lot and oozing, so I decided to get DES. I had a consultation and had surgery on the same day. After the surgery, I took all the medicine I received from the hospital for a week and applied cold compresses a lot. It took about 2 weeks for the major swelling to go down. I didn't have severe swelling from the beginning, so I think the swelling went down quickly. My friends often told me that the line was pretty and the swelling went down quickly. Usually, the strength of opening my eyes is different on each side, so they look uneven. And I have a habit of rubbing my eyes while sleeping, so the scars have gotten a bit worse. The day before yesterday, I went to the hospital and got a scar injection, and the doctor said that the scars are usually the worst at one month and that the scars will disappear at two months, so I was relieved. Of course, it depends on the person! And in the picture, my left eye is more swollen than my right eye and the line is also uneven. When I asked why, they said that the medial epicanthoplasty scar is blocking the double eyelid line, so the double eyelid swelling is not going down. But I'm still satisfied, haha.
