The shape of the bone inside my eyes (??) was originally asymmetrical, and even my double eyelids were asymmetrical, so I had a complex about my eyes~ Only one side was thick... and it didn't go away... I was only thinking about whether I should get double eyelid surgery or not for several years. I saw a lot of advertisements saying that I could go back to my daily life quickly without incision and without the double eyelids coming undone like before, so I wondered if I should get a consultation... The plastic surgery clinic that I often saw because the hospital I was getting treatment for my back was right across the street. I made a reservation to get a consultation and met the director, and he was very kind!! He carefully drew several times and said that it was possible with the buried suture method, and that if I grabbed it a little in the front without doing a canthoplasty, I could create double eyelids with a more open feeling than now, so I asked the director, 'Shouldn't I get a life-changing canthoplasty!?' He said I didn't need to... I thought, 'This isn't a hospital that just recommends this and that and just says okay if I want it,' so I decided to do it here. I consulted on 4/8 and had surgery (not really surgery) with the buried suture method on 4/9, and I went home on the bus that day without any problems! There was almost no swelling and almost no pain! He said I might get a little bruising, so he told me to ice pack well, so I ice packed for about 4 days. I was too lazy to do warm compresses. He said I could wash my face, but I was a coward, so I washed my face like a cat for a week lol. I didn't wear makeup either... haha... I went to work right away from 4/10, and it didn't interfere with my daily life at all, and it didn't make others uncomfortable at all. My right side was a little more swollen and bruised than my left side, but people thought I was wearing eye makeup. Originally, there is no stitch removal surgery, but in my case, I had to remove one stitch at a time, so I visited the hospital a week later. After visiting the hospital and removing the stitches, I met the director and checked again, and he said that the surgery went well, but the swelling on the right side still needed to go down a little more. I made an appointment for my next visit and came back~~ From this time on, I washed my face thoroughly and started wearing basic makeup. I don't usually wear heavy makeup, and I don't wear a lot of eye makeup. It's been about 3 weeks and 2 days now, and the swelling has gone down a lot, and I feel like the left and right sides are more symmetrical than before. My mom, who was against it, also said that it's much better after the double eyelid surgery lol.
