After, Before. I suddenly became concerned about my hooked nose, so I made a consultation appointment. I'm not usually this impulsive, but the doctor spoke with so much confidence and accuracy that I set the surgery date and paid the deposit on the same day ㅎㅎ. I usually hear that I look old, and I wondered if it was because of my midface, so I looked up some YouTube videos. I saw videos saying that it's difficult to improve a long midface, that rhinoplasty is the only option, and that you have to go to a good place even if you get surgery. I kept seeing only my nose for a while. You can cover up your eyes or face shape to some extent with makeup, but I honestly don't think shading makes a big difference for the nose. I suddenly got a feeling, got a consultation, and paid the deposit, but I was scared of the hook resection from a few days before the surgeryㅠ. But during the consultation, Dr. Sung Seung-je said that my side bones of my nose weren't wide and my hook wasn't a very serious type, so I didn't have to worry too much and that I wouldn't be shaving off as much as other hook patients. So, I was worried about the surgery, but I wasn't anxious that it wouldn't turn out well,,! Even on the day of the surgery, I had faith, but I was just scared for no reason. During the pre-surgery consultation, Dr. Sung Seung-je came in first and added to the design aspects from the first consultation. He said that he could create the nose I wanted just by shaving it off, so I thought it would be good to lay down a thin layer of silicone, which gave me faith. The manager came in and asked if I was scared and if there were any parts I was worried about, which reassured me. So, I started the surgery with a slightly more comfortable feeling than when I came to the hospital! It was uncomfortable for the first 2 days after the surgery, but it was comfortable after removing the packing. I went to remove the splint a week later, and it was really awkward, right,,? ㅎㅎㅎ I thought, 'Is this my nose?' ㅜㅜ I was so touched. What I was most worried about was that suddenly on the 4th day, while wearing the splint, I saw photos of straight nostrils in other reviews and thought they looked too obvious and I didn't like themㅜㅜㅜ. So, I contacted the manager, and she said I didn't have to worry. The nostrils really became naturally slightly thinner, the alar base was reduced, the tip of my nose went up a little, and the important hook disappeared!! My nose looked long, so I looked old, but improving the hook also improved the long nose, so my midface definitely looks shorter, and I look younger than before. My cheekbones also look less protruding, and it definitely looks more harmonious ㅎㅎ. I think hook nose surgery has a really big effect if it turns out well!!! I really recommend it ㅎㅎㅎ.
