Before & After Photos
I've always had a lot of fat on my face, so I've been getting contour injections and Botox, but it always felt like it was coming back. So, this time I looked into liposuction to find a more definitive solution, and now I'm 3 months post-op. They said swelling varies from person to person, and in the first month, I actually looked more swollen than before the surgery. A month later, when I went to the clinic for a follow-up, the doctor told me it would gradually subside, and it really did subside a lot in the second month. Actually, I recently went back to the clinic because I felt like my face was swollen again. The doctor kindly explained that in the second month, the facial fat seemed to have decreased dramatically, so it looked like a lot was gone, but from the third month onwards, it decreases gradually. He said that maybe the effect isn't as visible as in the second month, so it might feel like it's swollen. He showed me before and after photos and said it had improved a lot. I liked that both the doctor and the consultant empathized with my concerns rather than being annoyed. And they always treat me kindly, telling me to contact them anytime if I have any discomfort! When I objectively looked at the photos, I could see that a lot of fat had been removed. The doctor said that my cheeks must have been very hard before the surgery, but now they are much softer. He also said that there might be a difference in elasticity depending on age, which could make it look saggy, and recommended massage or, if possible, Ultherapy. I've been massaging frequently, and I'm really satisfied at 3 months. Looking back, it's a little disappointing that it takes some time, but I'm satisfied because now I can maintain it well as long as I don't gain weight.
