It's been a month since I had suborbital fat repositioning surgery with Dr. Shim Jung-hwan at Webers Plastic Surgery. I originally had protruding eyes and genetically had a lot of under-eye fat since I was young, but I decided to have surgery because it was gradually sagging over time. I had general anesthesia for the entire surgery, so I closed my eyes and opened them and the surgery was over. They also gave me local anesthesia, so I didn't feel much pain the next day when the anesthesia completely wore off. I didn't have any bruising, only yellow bruising for 1-2 weeks. The doctor told me before the surgery that the tear trough wouldn't be completely removed. As expected, the tear trough remains, which is a bit disappointing, but it's only been a month and I think there's still some swelling, so I'm hoping it will get better over time.
