Before & After Photos
This is my one-month review after undergoing rhinoplasty on August 22nd. I decided to get surgery because I had a bulbous nasal tip, a prominent dorsal hump, and almost no bridge definition in the glabella area. To cut to the chase, I had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Shim Jung-hwan at Weavers Plastic Surgery. The procedure involved dorsal hump reduction, a 5mm silicone implant for the bridge, osteotomy, bulbous tip correction, and ear cartilage grafting to augment the nasal tip. I'm currently very satisfied! Before choosing a clinic, I consulted with three different places, and Weavers Plastic Surgery was the most appealing. I appreciated that Dr. Shim Jung-hwan and Manager Bae Jin-hwa only pointed out the necessary procedures during the initial consultation. They also provided detailed information about post-operative care, including potential side effects and dissatisfaction with the results. As I mentioned earlier, I was unhappy with my low, bulbous nose and dorsal hump. I also have allergic rhinitis, so I wanted to consider the functional aspect. I told the doctor that I wanted a clear nasal bridge when viewed from the front after surgery, and he said it would be no problem, so I decided to proceed. After the surgery, the doctor told me that my dorsal hump was more severe than expected, so he had to refine it carefully and insert a thicker implant to match the glabella area. He also said that my nasal septum was severely deviated, so he corrected it as much as possible and completed the rest of the surgery successfully. I already had allergic rhinitis, so breathing through my nose was uncomfortable for up to two weeks after the surgery. Other than that, there was no swelling or other unusual issues. Currently, breathing is easier than before the surgery, and I'm very satisfied with the shape. [Surgical Before Photo]
