I had it done under IV sedation and when I woke up, I had bumps and about 30 minutes to 1 hour had passed. They guided me so kindly that I came home comfortably. The injection bumps lasted for about 2-3 days, and the redness lasted for about 5-7 days. So, you can think of the effect as definitely appearing from about a week later. (There may be individual differences!) It really makes my skin glow before any important event! I was worried about my skin being rough, but it also feels like it's locking in moisture. I think it's important to moisturize well when the injection bumps subside after the procedure. I really recommend it if you want to make your skin glow. ㅎㅎ
