Procedure: Double Eyelid Surgery (Incision, Ptosis Correction). Surgeon: Dr. Kim Joo-bong. Before surgery / After surgery. I arrived about 20 minutes early, and I immediately signed the consent form with the consultant, changed clothes, washed my face, and had a final consultation with the doctor. I lay down on the operating table, drew the final line, and got the anesthesia injection. (The worst pain of my life..? Not really, it's painful but bearable. It hurts more towards the front of the eye, but the nurse held my hand when I got the anesthesia injection, so I felt a little less nervous...) I was anesthetized, so it didn't hurt at all during the surgery. I was scared because I heard that you're awake and can hear and feel everything, but I didn't hear much surgery sounds, and if you just listen to the music and keep thinking 'hurry up and finish', it'll be over. They talked to me in between, and my neck hurt from lying down, but the doctor asked me if my neck hurt first and was very considerate. The doctor kept telling me to open my eyes and checked the line several times, which was good. When I opened my eyes while checking the line, I really felt like it was so much lighter and easier to open my eyes. This must be the power of removing fat and ptosis correction. The consultant, nurse, and doctor were all kind, which was great!! I'll be back with reviews at 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months!!!! + I had a lot of bleeding, so I went to the hospital for disinfection on the 3rd day + I had the stitches removed in 2 sessions!! It didn't hurt much.
