Before & After. This is a revision of my double eyelid suture surgery. I had it done 10 years ago, but I wasn't sure if my eyes were drooping or if the line was wrong from the beginning. The front line of my eyes went in too much, making my eyes look small and stuffy. I went to several consultations to see if I should get lateral and medial canthoplasty, but when I met Dr. Kim Joo-bong at Hershe Plastic Surgery, I trusted him so much that I begged him to do the surgery right away today ㅎㅎ. Fortunately, the timing worked out, so I had the surgery two days later!! He didn't push unnecessary procedures and said I didn't need canthoplasty. He corrected my uneven eyes and gave me the natural outfold I wanted, not an overly dramatic double eyelid, so I felt so comfortable until the day of the surgery. But I'm really scared of local anesthesia! I was thinking of asking for twilight anesthesia, but I believed that even middle school students get it, so I only got anesthesia in my eyes. And guess what? Don't be scared. The surgery was over in less than an hour, and I felt like I was just chatting with the doctor, who was kinder than my dad, while making eye contact. As expected, it doesn't hurt at all when you have it done by an eye specialist!!!! The biggest worries I had when getting double eyelid revision surgery were: what if I regret it if they make a mistake with the scalpel, what if it's too dramatic, do I need canthoplasty, what if the swelling is too severe and I can't work? But he said it was possible with the suture method, and I'm so happy with the swelling. It felt a little dramatic until 10 days after the surgery, but I'm so, so, so satisfied now, even before it's been 2 weeks. If you actually see it, it's still swollen and there are still bruises, but since I didn't raise the line too high from the beginning, I'm so excited about my future ㅠㅜ. It will get smaller, but if it settles naturally like this, I don't think I'll ever need revision surgery again! Everyone told me that my eyes and eyebrows are too close together, so it would look weird if I made my double eyelids bigger, but the doctor accurately caught that even before I said anything and made them really natural ㅠ. You should definitely get double eyelid surgery at Hershe!! There are so many eye surgery names these days, like natural adhesion and whatnot, but the doctor used the same method as the one I had before, so it's so natural and I like it. I think he stitched it 3-4 times? No scars and it's the best. It's only been 2 weeks and it's already like this, so I can't wait to see what it'll be like in a month or two. Thank you so much.
