My left eye had a clear double eyelid, but my right eye was faint, so I had surgery on only one side to match both sides. I remember that the doctor looked at me very carefully to match both eyes on the day of the surgery. He matched the double eyelid line several times while opening and closing my eyes during the surgery. The bruising got slightly darker from the 3rd day after the surgery, but now the bruising is completely gone. I was worried that the swelling would not go down quickly, but it went down a lot from a week after the surgery, so everyone didn't even know that I had surgery. I could feel the stitches slightly until the 2nd week, but it wasn't very uncomfortable. Now, there is no foreign body sensation or pulling in my eyes. There is still a line when I close my eyes, but it has healed a lot already, and it is not very noticeable if I don't pay attention to it.
