I had double eyelid surgery (incision, medial epicanthoplasty) with Dr. Kim Joo-bong at Hershe Plastic Surgery on January 30th. I liked that he gave me a clear consultation tailored to my eyes when I first visited for a consultation, and more than anything, I trusted him because he was so kind. I also appreciated that he didn't push me to request an excessive line or surgery. It was my first time having surgery, so I was nervous and tense, but he skillfully completed the surgery. There's still some swelling, but the line has settled in to the point where my eyes look defined, so I'm somewhat satisfied. And I was worried that my eyes would look too close together if I had too much medial epicanthoplasty because the distance between my eyes is narrow, but the doctor was well aware of that and performed the medial epicanthoplasty accordingly, which eased my worries. What I wanted most was natural-looking eyes that suited my face, and I'm satisfied because it seems to have turned out well.
