I had completely monolids with no inner double eyelid, and I used to open my eyes with my forehead because my eyes were weak, so I had wrinkles on my forehead. The doctor immediately corrected that part with ptosis correction, and the line came out exactly as I wanted it. To be honest, I didn't plan on having medial epicanthoplasty, but after having it done, I could definitely see that the front of my eyes was opened up!
Also, my left eye was more swollen, so the line looked asymmetrical, and the line was formed above it on my left eye, but it looked okay as the swelling went down, and I think it will be fine if it goes down more.
I had local anesthesia during the surgery. People around me told me to have sleep anesthesia no matter what, but the hospital said they would proceed with local anesthesia, and I also thought it would be better to adjust the line while looking at how I opened my eyes in the middle, so I proceeded with local anesthesia without saying anything.
I had consultations at other hospitals and even made an appointment, but I was recommended a hospital that my cousin went to, so I made another appointment and had the surgery done well. I thought Seoul would be better than my hometown, so I came to Seoul. When I came, they consulted me well, told me everything I was curious about, and explained everything well, which was great.
