While looking for rhinoplasty reviews on Gangnam Unnie, I thought that Dr. Lim Young-min at Berry Good would be able to make the shape I wanted, so I made a consultation appointment and paid a deposit on the day of the consultation! When I received a consultation for rhinoplasty (first nose), my nose had a low bridge and augmentation rhinoplasty (short nose), so I decided to raise the bridge with silicone and use septal cartilage and donated rib cartilage. I didn't receive consultations at other hospitals, so after the consultation, I went home and looked at a lot of reviews and watched YouTube to find information. I wanted a natural nose that wasn't flashy, and it wasn't easy to get donated rib cartilage because of Corona, so I decided to use ear cartilage and septal cartilage. I had a few more consultations and solidified my decision while talking to the manager via Kakao. _Surgery Day On the day of the surgery, I filled out a consent form and lay down in the operating room, and I was so scared and wanted to run away when I thought about the items written on the consent form. (The consent form included the worst-case scenarios, but they said that most of them were very low probability but they had to be informed.) I really wanted to cry because I was scared, but I woke up and it was over. After finishing, I waited in the recovery room with an ice pack until the anesthesia wore off, then changed my clothes, received a prescription, went to the pharmacy, and took a taxi home. There was cotton in my nose, so I could only breathe through my mouth, which was so, so, so painful and difficult. It was also difficult to swallow anything, and my mouth was so dry when I slept that I woke up every 20 minutes to drink a sip of water and went back to sleep, so I couldn't sleep properly. And it hurt a lot when the anesthesia wore off where I harvested the ear cartilage. But it felt bearable.. in a way.. And it was hard to open my mouth well when brushing my teeth. And I was told not to bow my head, so I washed very carefully. _1 day after surgery The next day, I was so tired that I went to the hospital in the morning and took out the cotton, so it was easier to breathe and it was okay from this point on. It was also easier to eat or talk. Oh, and I slept sitting up for about a week. I don't know if that's why, but the swelling went down faster than I thought and I had less bruising. The swelling-reducing drink I bought with the prescription from the pharmacy was also somewhat effective. And I also think it's because Dr. Lim did a good job with the surgery! After removing the splint that I had on for 7 days, I washed my face very carefully and started putting on makeup little by little 2 days after removing the splint. The bruising wasn't severe, so it was covered, but it was still visible. I think it's important to apply the medicine well and do ice packs well. I washed my hair at home on the 4th day, being very careful not to get water in my ears. _3 weeks After about 3 weeks, the swelling was almost all gone and the bruising was all gone, so I'm very, very satisfied because it's completely natural. When I first removed the splint, my sense of touch was also strange, but now I think my sense of touch has mostly returned except for the tip of my nose. I'm still applying the medicine steadily. It's a little uncomfortable when brushing my teeth or opening my mouth, but it's more natural than before. After removing the splint, I washed my hair with my head down, but I felt a little dizzy at that time, so I rinsed quickly without using treatment.
