Original concern: I was self-conscious about my small, short nose, which made me look younger and cuter than my age. It made my face look swollen and round. The filler I had in my glabella (between the eyebrows) was also spreading. I wanted to look more sophisticated and prettier, so I started searching. I had a rhinoplasty with augmentation of the bridge and tip, and inferior turbinate reduction. Hospital selection: Recommended by an acquaintance. It's Very Good Plastic Surgery Clinic in Gangnam. What I liked: Systematic and kind. I was hospitalized for a day, and since it was my first time breathing through my mouth, I became sensitive to the environment. The dryness of the hospital room made my mouth feel parched, and I was scared because of the surgery. But the nurses took care of the humidifier, changed my gauze, and replaced my ice pack all night long. I was honestly so grateful for their dedication. They even refilled the humidifier before the water ran out, which was so thoughtful. I really appreciate that. When I had my IV line placed for the surgery, they did an allergy skin test for antibiotics after securing the line and putting me to sleep. It was great. No pain and very comfortable. I had the surgery with Dr. Park Sang-wook. The doctor is as comfortable as a Simmons bed. He asked me what kind of nose I wanted, and I just said I didn't want to look cute, but pretty, and suitable for my face. Not too old-looking, but moderately pretty, and not like I had work done, but not too subtle, and with a sophisticated look. I trusted him to do a good job, and he did. Looking back, I gave him really abstract instructions, but he's incredibly perceptive. I had the surgery on May 6th, and I'm just going to make May 6th my birthday.
