I had revision double eyelid surgery at the beginning of this year! I feel like I'm living a new life since then. I look even better in person than in pictures. I had my first double eyelid surgery 3 years ago, but my eyes were uneven and I didn't like the line, so I was hesitant to do it again. But I got the urge and went for it, and I don't regret it at all, I love it so much! ㅠㅠ (I had photos of my recovery process, but they were all deleted when I reset my phone, which is a shame ㅠㅠㅠㅠ) I originally went in for a consultation for ptosis correction + revision surgery, but the doctor said I didn't need ptosis correction, so I had revision surgery with non-incisional suture method + lateral canthoplasty. I've seen posts on Babitalk about clinics recommending a bunch of procedures during consultations, and I'm not good at refusing, and I was feeling insecure about my face, so I was worried that they would recommend other things during the consultation and I wouldn't know how to refuse. But they listened to my concerns and examined my eyes, and they left out unnecessary procedures and consulted me in a way that minimized my complexes, so it was worth the time and money to travel from the countryside to Seoul. It was a hassle to have to go back to Seoul to check on my progress or get the stitches removed from the lateral canthoplasty, but... I experienced such a pleasant change that I don't even think about it. My friends said the lateral canthoplasty was really well done and asked where I got it done, and the double eyelids are also naturally well done, so I'm satisfied! Since it's a non-incisional suture method, I don't have to get stitches removed separately, and it's not very noticeable and natural, so people who see me for the first time don't really notice. My friends say I look much better now than before... Especially the lateral canthoplasty, you can really see the difference in person, it's amazing hahaha. Actually, more than what others say, I felt like I made the right decision every time I looked in the mirror or at photos.
