Ok so I've wanted double eyelid surgery since I was like 16 but kept backing out. Finally went through with it at 28 and honestly why did I wait so long??
My sister got hers done here 2 years ago and she looks amazing so I just went to the same place. The doc was super chill and didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff which I appreciated. We looked at some photos together and I picked a pretty natural crease height - didn't want anything too dramatic.
Surgery itself was whatever, I was so nervous I don't remember much lol. Took maybe an hour? The worst part was the numbing injections tbh. After that I didn't feel anything.
First few days I looked ROUGH. Like I got punched in both eyes lmao. My mom kept asking if I was ok every 5 minutes which was sweet but also annoying. By day 5 the swelling was way better and I could actually open my eyes properly.
Now it's been about 2 months and I'm obsessed. The crease is exactly what I wanted - noticeable but natural. My coworker literally asked if I changed my makeup routine, she had no idea I got surgery haha.
Only complaint is one eye took longer to heal than the other which freaked me out but the doc said it's totally normal. Should've googled that before panicking.
