Since I injured my nose when I was young, it's been uncomfortable to breathe through my nose, and one side of my nose has always been blocked. It's basic, but at other clinics I went to for consultations before, they were vague when I asked about the documents even though they were doing functional rhinoplasty, so I passed. So I made a reservation at Thank You Clinic for nasal bridge silicone, nasal tip septal cartilage + donated rib cartilage + functional rhinoplasty as recommended by Dr. Choi, and I had a final design consultation with the doctor on the day of the surgery and lay down on the operating table. I was very nervous at this time, but the staff in the operating room told me not to be too nervous and that it would go well, so I felt relieved. I don't remember how much time passed, but I woke up from anesthesia with a tingling sensation in my nose, and I rested sufficiently in the recovery room and was able to go home. On the first day after surgery, it was a bit difficult because I could only breathe through my mouth because of the cotton in my nose, and the swelling started the next day. And the swelling started to go down exactly after I removed the splint and stitches. Currently, there is still some residual swelling, but it's so much easier to breathe through my nose because the nasal congestion is gone. My nasal bridge is also straight and higher, and my drooping nose tip is also sharply raised, so I'm completely satisfied. I still have to watch the recovery process and I have to think about the residual swelling for 6 months to 1 year, so I'm going to manage it slowly.
