It's been a little over a month since I had rhinoplasty and it seems like it's settled down to some extent, so I'm posting a review. My nose was originally short and the tip of my nose was drooping. And what bothered me the most was that it looked wide and the tip of my nose looked squished when I smiled, so I was always thinking about surgery. But I was also a little scared, so I was putting it off. But one day, my younger sibling had rhinoplasty and came back. I saw that and thought I should do it soon, so I started looking into it. I went to 4 hospitals that are mostly famous for rhinoplasty. The surgical methods and implants that each hospital recommended were all different, and some hospitals said that the nose I wanted wasn't possible, so I was a little mentally broken at this point ㅋㅋㅋ. But at the place where I had my surgery, the director advised me that it's possible to get the nose shape I wanted with no implant, but it would be good to put a thin silicone implant in the bridge of my nose. Usually, the director recommends the method they pursue, but at Thank You, they seemed to recommend the surgical method and implant that suited my nose condition and image, so I liked that. They also said that I could think about it enough and decide, so if I looked into it a lot and had any thoughts, I could contact them, so I was able to think about the implant more ㅋㅋ. As the director said, I thought it would be effective to put a little silicone in the nose bridge, so I decided to use silicone for the nose bridge and septal cartilage for the tip of my nose instead of no implant when he gave me the final design consultation on the day of the surgery!!! The hardest time after the surgery was right on the day... They put cotton in my nose for about a day, and it was so hard to breathe. Because my nose was blocked, I couldn't taste anything and my lips were dry and cracked because I was breathing through my mouth ㅠ. And I was so thirsty... I drank water with a straw for about a day ㅋㅋ,,, This was the time that didn't go by the fastest. But when I removed the splint and stitches on the 7th day and saw my changed nose, I forgot all the hard things ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I felt like I was being rewarded for the slightly hard time, so it was amazing. And from this time on, the swelling went down very well, so I looked at my nose condition every morning when I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror whenever I had a chance ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. Right now, my nose tip still looks firm because of the swelling, but I'm waiting because the swelling in the nose tip goes down last and it will become more slender later. I'm looking forward to how it will change~
