Got under eye filler for my hollows and dark circles about 4 months ago. The results are... ok? Let me explain.
The procedure itself was fine. Doc used a cannula which is like a blunt needle - supposedly less bruising. Felt weird pressure but not painful. Took like 15 mins per eye.
Immediately after it looked great - hollows filled in, looked less tired. I was excited. But then the swelling kicked in and for a week I looked like I had eye bags WORSE than before. Puffy and weird.
Once swelling went down (about 2 weeks) it looked good again. My under eyes were smoother, the dark shadows less obvious. Not perfect but better.
HERE'S THE THING. At about month 3 I noticed the filler migrating? Like it moved from directly under my eye to below where it was supposed to be. Now I have these slight lumps that weren't there before. Doc says it happens sometimes.
I'm debating whether to get the filler dissolved and start over or just wait for it to dissolve naturally (takes like a year apparently).
So would I recommend under eye filler? With caveats. It can look great but it's tricky. Make sure you go to someone really experienced with this specific area. And know that it might not be smooth sailing.

Pros
did fill in the hollows, less tired looking at first
Cons
filler migrated, lumpy now, need to probably dissolve and redo, expensive lesson
