Before & After Photos
First of all, as you can see in the picture, I have asymmetrical eyes and I live abroad. At some point, I started to notice that my eyes made me look like I was sneering when I smiled, so I decided to get a procedure to change my impression. Process: As I said before, I live abroad and I only have about 2 weeks to stay in Korea, so I researched clinics that could perform the procedure as soon as I arrived in Korea, and clinics with many reviews and testimonials. I did the consultation and booking all through KakaoTalk. Reason for choosing the clinic: First of all, I read that Dr. Kim Hyung-seok is almost the best in eye revision surgery, and I decided after seeing the reviews and before and after photos. I saw testimonials from people with droopy eyes and severe left-right asymmetry, and I thought, 'This is the place.' Booking: I contacted them a month in advance, but the weekends were almost fully booked, so I barely managed to book a time slot. You have to pay a deposit in advance if you want to have the consultation and procedure on the same day, so please keep that in mind. I paid a deposit in advance to get the procedure. Consultation & Procedure: First, the consultant came and explained everything briefly, and when I consulted with the doctor, he kindly asked me about each eye shape option. I was actually hesitant about getting epicanthoplasty until I got the consultation, but he said that epicanthoplasty would make my eyes look more open and improve the stuffy look, so I decided to get it done together with non-incisional double eyelid surgery. The eye shape I wanted was more defined than the inner double eyelid I already had on one side, and I wanted it to be natural and not too flashy, and I asked for a procedure that would reduce swelling quickly (because I was worried about problems when I left the country). He said that it would go down faster because it was non-incisional and not incisional. And before the procedure, I accidentally touched the line I drew and it smudged a little, but he said I would definitely regret it if I did the procedure like that, so he redrew it from the beginning and checked it before proceeding with the procedure, which was so good. After the procedure: - I had the stitches removed in 3-4 days (procedure on Saturday/stitch removal on Tuesday) - The first picture in the review below is a picture taken 4 days later. I had more yellow bruises than blue bruises, and the swelling went down faster than I expected. (To reduce swelling, I used an eye mask frequently and moved around a lot rather than drinking pumpkin juice) - The swelling went down differently every day from almost a week after the procedure. Conclusion: I'm so satisfied now that all the swelling has gone down. Everyone says my impression has changed, but they don't know where I changed it because my eyes are so natural. Everyone asks me where I got it done 🥹. I used to have a playful impression, but now I have a calm impression. Everyone asked me where I got it done and said it turned out so pretty, and I left the country without any problems! If you think there might be a problem, you can request a certificate of plastic surgery (?) in English and they will write it for you! I gained courage after seeing other people's review photos, so I'm uploading my photos too! I hope it helps a lot!
