Revisional Surgery 2 Months Post-Op Due to Implant Rupture - Dr. Kim Ju-won at Melon!

14 years ago, I had Mentor Smooth Moderate Plus implants, 275cc on the right and 250cc on the left, placed through an axillary incision. I found out about the implant rupture and immediately looked into revisional surgery. I decided on Melon and am now 2 months post-op. I had Motiva Demi 425cc implants placed through an inframammary incision. My chest circumference was 71cm, and my breast width was 12.5cm on both sides! At one month post-op, the texture was still firm, and I occasionally had tightness and breast pain, but I can definitely feel that it's improving little by little. I still feel intermittent numbness? And a poking sensation. The right side, where the rupture occurred, still has less sensation and feels dull, but I trust that it will get better as Dr. Kim said. I'm a diligent person who uses my arms a lot^^ So, my chest feels a bit tight when I use my arms a lot. People who have had surgery should consciously stretch often and do a lot of shoulder exercises because constantly rounding your shoulders puts strain on your neck and shoulders. Even after just 2 months, the skin softens, and the texture improves noticeably. I can even lie on my side for short periods, which is a relief. I'll be able to lie on my stomach after a little more time. Time flies. Every time I visit for aftercare, I feel like the doctor is even kinder than the nurses. She listens to all my questions and concerns from the patient's perspective. She gives clear answers whenever I ask out of anxiety... I'm grateful for her meticulous care. There are many clinics where your face changes drastically before and after surgery, but Melon takes responsibility with systematic care until the end! I feel reassured because there's a doctor with a warm heart and excellent skills. I calmly let go of all negative emotions and focus on my current life. Before I know it, my breasts will be beautifully settled! I commend myself for my choice.
