been getting botox for 2 years now - honest thoughts

Started botox at 35 for my forehead lines and crows feet. Two years of regular injections later, here's my honest take.

First time was weird - tiny needles in your face is never gonna feel normal. But it's quick, like 10-15 mins, and not that painful. Little pinches basically. I was nervous for nothing.

Results kicked in around day 4-5. My forehead lines smoothed out and I couldn't make the scrunchy face that caused them anymore. Felt a bit strange at first but you get used to it.

I go every 3.5-4 months now. The effects wear off gradually so you don't suddenly wake up with wrinkles - they just slowly come back until your next appointment.

Here's what I've noticed after 2 years:
- My lines haven't gotten worse, if anything they're less deep than before
- I use less product each time because my muscles are weaker from not moving as much
- When it starts wearing off I can tell immediately

The key is finding a good injector. I went to someone cheap once and got the "frozen" look. Couldn't raise my eyebrows at all for 3 months. Looked surprised constantly lol. Now I only go to my regular doc who knows my face.

It's a commitment - time and money. But for me it's become part of my routine like getting my hair done. My forehead just looks better when I keep up with it.
