just tip plasty - subtle but made a huge difference

Didn't want full rhinoplasty - my bridge is fine but I had this bulbous round tip that I hated. Looked like a little ball at the end of my nose. Just wanted it refined.

Went for tip plasty only which is a smaller procedure. Doc said he'd use cartilage from inside my nose to reshape the tip. No implant or anything.

Surgery was like 1.5 hours under local with some sedation so I was pretty out of it but not fully asleep. No cast needed which was nice, just some tape on my nose for a week.

Recovery was actually pretty chill compared to what I expected. Nose was swollen and tender but nothing too crazy. Could breathe fine after day 2. Went back to work after a week with just a bit of tape on my nose that I covered with a big bandaid lol. Told people I had a mole removed.

Results at 4 months - tip is way more refined and defined. Still has my nose shape just... prettier? It photographs so much better. The change is subtle enough that not everyone noticed I had surgery but I DEFINITELY notice.

If you just want tip work and don't need bridge changes, highly recommend just doing tip plasty. Less invasive less recovery less money. My tip is still a bit stiff when I press it but doc says that'll go away.
