This is gonna be long but I want to share my experience for anyone in a similar situation.
I got double eyelid surgery at a cheap clinic 2 years ago. MISTAKE. The creases were uneven - one was way higher than the other - and the left one had this weird fold that looked like sausage. I hated looking in the mirror.
Finally saved up enough for revision surgery. Found a doctor who specializes in fixing botched jobs. He was honest with me from the start - said revision is harder than the first surgery because there's scar tissue, and results might not be "perfect" but he could definitely make it much better.
The surgery took longer than my first one - like 3 hours. And honestly the recovery was worse too. More swelling, more bruising. I think because the tissue had already been operated on before.
But omg the RESULTS. Even with all the swelling I could tell it was going to be so much better. Now 6 months later my eyes finally look symmetrical. The creases match. No more weird sausage fold. I actually like looking at my face again.
Moral of the story - don't cheap out on surgery. I learned the hard way. If you did and you're living with bad results, revision IS possible. Just find someone experienced with revisions specifically.
The extra money was worth every penny. Wish I did this sooner instead of being miserable for 2 years.
