Price
Got 8 veneers on my front teeth after years of being embarrassed by my smile. Some were chipped, some discolored, sizes were uneven. Veneers were the fix.
First appointment they shaved down my teeth a bit to make room for the veneers. This was the point of no return - once you shave them down, you need veneers forever because your natural teeth are compromised. I knew this going in.
Wore temporary veneers for 2 weeks while they made my permanent ones. The temps looked ok but felt kinda bulky. Was careful eating.
Second appointment they took off the temps and tried on the real veneers. Made some tiny adjustments then glued them on permanently. The whole thing took a couple hours.
The result: perfect teeth. Literally perfect. White, even, shaped nicely. I went from hiding my smile to showing it off constantly. It's been 2 years now and they still look great.
Few things to know:
- I wear a night guard now because grinding can damage veneers
- Can't bite into apples directly anymore (gotta cut them)
- Super hard things are risky
- If one chips or falls off I'll need to replace it
But honestly no regrets. My confidence is through the roof. Smiling in photos, talking to people, everything is better when you're not self conscious about your teeth.
