nostril reduction - small procedure big confidence boost

I have wide nostrils that get even wider when I smile. Always bothered me in photos. Finally looked into alarplasty which is the nostril narrowing procedure.

The consultation was straightforward. Doc measured my nostrils and marked how much he'd remove. Warned me not to go too narrow or it can look weird and cause breathing issues. We agreed on a conservative reduction.

Procedure was QUICK. Like 30-40 mins? Just local numbing. Felt a bit of pressure and tugging but zero pain. Walked out of there feeling totally normal except for some stitches at the base of my nostrils.

Tiny stitches came out after 5 days. The incisions are hidden right where the nostril meets the face so you literally cannot see any scar now. There was some swelling for maybe 2 weeks but nothing dramatic.

Now at 2 months and I'm so happy. My nostrils are narrower and don't flare as much when I smile. It's subtle - my friends didn't really notice anything different. But I notice and that's what matters.

Super easy procedure honestly. If wide nostrils bother you this is a good option. Just don't go crazy with the reduction.
