lipo on my stomach - month by month honest update

Got lipo on my lower belly and love handles about 6 months ago. Sharing my real experience because I wish someone had told me what to actually expect.

I'm not overweight but had stubborn fat that wouldn't go away no matter how much I worked out or dieted. Finally pulled the trigger on lipo.

Surgery was about 2 hours. General anesthesia. Woke up wrapped super tight in this compression garment. First 3 days were the worst - felt like I did 1000 ab crunches, lots of bruising, moving around sucked.

Week 1-2: Looked TERRIBLE. Swollen everywhere, bruises turning yellow and green, waddled around like a penguin. Questioned all my life choices lol.

Month 1: Still pretty swollen but functional. Back at work (desk job). Still wearing the compression garment 24/7 which was annoying as hell.

Month 2-3: Started seeing real results! Swelling going down, waist getting smaller. Could see where my waist actually was for the first time.

Month 4-5: Pretty much final results. Lost about 3 inches from my waist. Lower belly is flat. Love handles gone.

Now at month 6: I'm obsessed with my results. Finally have the stomach I've been chasing for YEARS. Yeah the recovery sucked but 6 weeks of discomfort for a lifetime result? Worth it.

The fat is gone forever as long as I don't gain a ton of weight. Totally worth the money and misery.
